Rob has had extensive experience of managing major international development programmes and projects gained in a diverse range of business environments including Rio Tinto plc, Unilever plc, UKAEA, Cogent Holdings, Water Research Centre and DERA Porton Down. He has also worked in the SME environment having been an executive director of two successful high growth start-ups, both relating to environmental biotechnology, which were founded to exploit intellectual property developed by university based research teams.

Latterly, working as a consultant for Oxford Innovation, Rob has worked with clients from both the private and public sectors on major projects relating to the development of high growth businesses and the delivery of related business support programmes. He has worked on over 80 individual assignments relating to innovation, start-ups, science parks and business incubation.
