Peter has had a long career with multi-national companies at director and senior management level plus the experience of working with SME's, particularly high-growth technology companies. Currently he works with a number of technology based companies and is a director of a sports and leisure company.
Early roles included training at the English Electric Company and Chief Development Engineer at Creda Electric Limited. Peter worked for the Electrical Appliance Division of Thorn Electrical Limited as Technical Liaison Officer and Divisional Engineering Director. Following the sale of the company, he formed a technology SME and chaired the company through to a profitable entity and trade sale. Peter joined the Glen-Dimplex Group in 1988 as Technical Director. He 'retired' in 1997, but soon after joined Business Link Surrey, responsible for innovation.
