Michael has been a resident in Cornwall for over 20 years and in that time started his own software company delivering specialist solutions to a diverse range of businesses from the small to the very large both in the UK and overseas, including Allied Bakeries, Mars, Johnson & Johnson and Guinness. Leading on from that he was Operations Director for The Idesta Group and was part of the team that raised £8million in VC funding. In this role he was responsible for all software development, delivery and support for projects as diverse as a mobile solution for 1,400 BSkyB Engineers in the UK to a handheld stock and cash control system for Pepsi in Saudi Arabia.

Prior to that he was a director of a meat business involved in all aspects of the food supply chain and more recently has been acting as an advisor to a number of smaller businesses in Cornwall primarily in the leisure and tourism industry. Michael brings a deep understanding of all the issues of starting, growing and managing an SME in Cornwall as well as industry knowledge in the food, IT and leisure sectors.
