Since graduating from Leicester University Lisa has had a career spanning 26 in the bioscience and healthcare business. 3 years working in pathology research were followed by 13 years working as a senior manager responsible for manufacturing in one of Oxford's earliest privately owned biotech companies. Lisa was instrumental, as Operations Director, in starting up a joint venture company to successfully commercialise a diagnostic text, grow the business and see it through to acquisition by a larger player (1998-2001).

In 2001 she moved to Oxford Innovation where she has worked as an advisor and most recently a business coach to assist companies with technology commercialisation and growth.
