Bernard Gudgin

Huw Edwards
After 12 years researching molecular signalling at Cambridge and Oxford, undertook business training in Amsterdam, with (Reed) Elsevier in electronic media. Huw is an advisor to the to the European Commission in the Biosciences, Media and Nanotechnology. He has been an influential partner in European technology networks in both diagnostics and biotechnology. Huw has worked on knowledge transfer programmes in the Czech Republic, Russia, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Belgium and Sweden over the last 15 years. He also acts as an analyst for the Commercial Unit of the Canadian High Commission on the biomedical industries .
John Bottomley
John has an electricity engineering background in both UK and International electricity utilities. He has senior management, international sales and new product development experience with multi national companies covering, manufacturing projects and services, oil and gas sectos. A particular feature of his career has been providing the leadership necessary to build teams, in a technical environment for new ventures within large organisations. He managed a European wide TQM initiative for a US Multi National company in the early 90's.
Leo Dunne
Leo is an early stage finance specialist. Having started his career in banking, he moved into venture capital, where he worked for regional venture capital company London Ventures and subsequently a private investment company, Ferranti. Leo is also currently responsible for the Thames Valley Investment Network one of the three business angel networks operated by Oxford Innovation.
Lisa Mynheer
Since graduating from Leicester University Lisa has had a career spanning 26 in the bioscience and healthcare business. 3 years working in pathology research were followed by 13 years working as a senior manager responsible for manufacturing in one of Oxford's earliest privately owned biotech companies. Lisa was instrumental, as Operations Director, in starting up a joint venture company to successfully commercialise a diagnostic text, grow the business and see it through to acquisition by a larger player (1998-2001).

Martin is an executive coach and trainer with experience of working in and with all size companies from large multi-nationals to SME's. Martin had a 20 year career in product, brand and sales management in food manufacturing and FMCG companies such as Wella Hair Care and Spillers Foods.
Michael Barritt
Michael has been a resident in Cornwall for over 20 years and in that time started his own software company delivering specialist solutions to a diverse range of businesses from the small to the very large both in the UK and overseas, including Allied Bakeries, Mars, Johnson & Johnson and Guinness. Leading on from that he was Operations Director for The Idesta Group and was part of the team that raised £8million in VC funding. In this role he was responsible for all software development, delivery and support for projects as diverse as a mobile solution for 1,400 BSkyB Engineers in the UK to a handheld stock and cash control system for Pepsi in Saudi Arabia.
