With a PhD in Agricultural Sciences, Wendy set up her own small business as a Seed Potato Merchant, running the company for 10 years.  After a brief excursion into Secondary School Education, Wendy then established and ran another business in the hospitality industry with her husband. During this time she ran a pub and a small hotel with restaurant.

Wendy also worked for the Training & Enterprise Council where she was responsible for a forum of all the major Formula 1 Racing Car companies. She was involved in Government funded business support as an advisor with Business Link, managing an area team for seven years.

Prior to her appointment with Coaching for High Growth on the Cornwall Programmes, Wendy has been a Portfolio Director for the Oxfordshire Innovation & Growth and Oxfordshire Enterprise Hub where she supported companies exhibiting high growth potential.
