Andrew Colleran

By profession a software engineer, Andrew has worked in the UK and European arenas for many years as a consultant on commercial and research projects and as manager of a number of multinational projects.

He has a particular interest in network and information security and chaired the Security Expert Group of the European Workshop for Open Systems, advised the European Commission on standards for electronic commerce and developed an early Internet service for publishing digital content via European research networks.

Andrew specialises in networks, information services, multimedia and the retail and distribution sector.
